Fishing, Diving, & Relaxing in the Middle Florida Keys

About Us | Back to Home

Sea Bird Marina's Location is the Best in the Keys!

The Channel Five bridge is one of the few bridges in the Keys that allows sailboats and large boats easy access to both the Atlantic Ocean and Florida Bay. We are located just one mile West of the bridge at Mile Marker 69.5 on the Overseas Highway.

Fantastic Fishing

Our location is a fisherman's dream!  You can fish the back country and the ocean all in one day. Drive straight out of the marina to enjoy great Florida Bay fishing spots, such as Sprigger Bank and Nine Mile Bank. Go to the ocean and less than five miles out, you can fish the patch reefs and the Tennessee Reef Light. At five miles, out you're past the reef in blue water, where you can catch sailfish, dolphin, wahoo, and kings. The bridges on both sides of Long Key are great for bridge fishing. The variety of fish caught off the bridges is impressive. This includes Tarpon and shark.

Snorkel & Dive for Lobster

Sea Bird Marina is close to some of the Keys' most popular snorkel and dive spots. Our personal favorite is the Alligator Reef Light area. Lobster season is an unbelievable amount of fun.  There are so many lobsters!  Every one has a great time diving for them. The best part is that most of the lobsters are in five feet of water. Everyone, old and young, can join in.

Personal Service

Sea Bird Marina is a family-owned-and-operated, mom-and-pop marina. We pride ourselves on giving personal service to all our guests. Some stay a long time in our live-aboard slips. We have transit slips for short-term stays, and also provide secure, gated, dry storage for boats, trailers, trucks, and RVs. Our launch ramp and the bait and tackle shop are open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except on Tuesdays when we're closed. Our boat rentals and vacation accommodations are perfect for a day of fishing, diving, or just having fun on the water.
