With 42 bridges linking the islands that make up the Keys, there’s no shortage of great spots to fish.
1) Long Key Bridge

Both bridges are located on the opposite side of Long Key from Long Key Bridge and offer excellent opportunities to catch various fish, including mackerel, barracuda, permit, snapper, grouper and much more. 3) Tom’s Harbor Cut – For the Nighttime Fisherman
Located at Mile Marker 63, Tom’s Harbor Cut is one of the favorite nighttime fishing spots in the Keys. The best time to fish here is around sunset when the Tarpons are biting. Sharks can also be caught at night for those who don’t mind staying late. Anglers with kids can be lucky to catch a few Blue Runners and snappers during the day.
4) Seven Mile Bridge
Suppose you’re looking for a challenge, head to the Seven Mile Bridge. This bridge spans the open water between Knight’s Key and Little Duck Key, and it’s one of the most popular fishing spots in the Florida Keys. You can fish from the bridge or by boat on the water. Schoolmaster, mangroves, and mutton snapper are just some fish you can expect to catch here.
5) Sugarloaf Key
Sugarloaf Key is an excellent spot for anglers looking to target tarpon, permit, and bonefish. The key is located just North of Key West and is easily accessible by boat or charter.
