People have been catching Mahi off of Tennessee Light for the last few months. While there have not been massive schools of them, they have been in plentiful numbers. They are appearing as singles or in small schools of two or three fish. Even then, it is not like you only find one group an hour. Instead, what is happening is that you find another soon after you finish with one group. Making fishing for them a consistent hunt but one well off the effort.
They have been located just past the Tennessee light in depths of 250ft—350 ft, making the trip out to get them really brief and allowing for even more time for fishing. The size of the fish has been great as well. There are not many small Mahi out there, so anglers have been landing large bulls regularly.
